Brean Leisure Park Raise £4,615 for BARB Search & Rescue



Brean Leisure Park are proud to announce that their dedicated team and generous customers have raised a remarkable £4,615 in support of BARB Search & Rescue (Burnham Area Rescue Board). This donation will aid the vital work of this life-saving charity, which has been a cornerstone of the Somerset community since its inception in 1992.

 

As the main charity partner for 2024, BARB Search & Rescue continues to serve the region with unwavering commitment. Run entirely by local volunteers, the charity operates hovercrafts and inshore rescue boats to respond to emergencies 24/7, saving lives in critical situations. BARB is entirely reliant on donations, and every contribution helps keep these essential services running.

 

"We are incredibly proud to support BARB Search & Rescue and their life-saving work in our community," said a spokesperson for Holiday Resort Unity and Brean Leisure Park. "This year’s fundraising success is a testament to the generosity of our guests and staff. We are also grateful for the ongoing support from those who have contributed to our charity efforts over the years."

 

In addition to this year's £4,615 donation, the resort and park have raised over £25,000 for various local charities in the past three years, including St. Margaret’s Hospice and Somerset Breast Cancer NowThe team at Brean Leisure Park is committed to making a difference and supporting the important causes that serve the local community.
